Sun Art Chosen for CBS 'Sunday Morning' Broadcasts - Prints Available

Rise and shine! My sun artwork Ray Play made its way to television as part of the CBS Sunday Morning program, first airing in 2010 at the end of a piece by Bill Geist. It’s been on the show occasionally ever since.

The broadcast is seen by a nationwide US audience of nearly five million each week.  As you may know, the program is marked by its distinctive sun logo and, between some segments of the show, brief uses of various other sun face images -- like this one.

The design is part of the Sunday Morning art library and is slated to appear on future broadcasts of the show as well.

"Ray Play"available as Canvas Wall Art, too!

This Sun collage painting, full of texture and upbeat colors, can inject a bit of playfulness and and a warm smile into your everyday.

Sean Kane's Sunday Morning Sun Art now available on mugs, iPhone cases, tote bags and more!

I created this sunny art using a mix of acrylic painted papers. Then collaged them, adding layers of painted textures, colored pencil and more paint to arrive at a bright, summer image.

I'm proud that it appears on Sunday Morning, adding to the shows rich history of featuring artist's works and being a colorful bookend to their stories from time-to-time.
